Who are we?

 

A student lettings agency.

MCR Move was started in 2015 and staffed with a team with many years of experience in the student and professional lettings market. We came together to form a company that provides the quality of properties and renting experience that today’s students expect.

More than lettings

Before we started, we knew there was a high demand for students wanting bills inclusive packages when renting. We decided to make this part of our offering from the beginning and manage it all in-house with our own utilties team.

Going beyond basics

Our utilities offering has always been about providing a service that goes beyond expectations. Having an in house team means we can respond faster and resolve issues such as problems with the internet quicker than any other inclusive bills provider.

 

A natural next step

Our Head of Utilities brings the experience of working for an award-winning sustainability consultancy before joining us. We had been moving towards making the company more sustainable before the current energy crisis developed. Now we’re refocusing that effort outwards to help our tenants.

Not afraid to ask for help

This will be a challenging project and it would be foolish to think we could do it by ourselves. We have partnered with Students Organising for Sustainability (SOS) who have created a magnificent programme help reach and keep engaged as many of our tenants as possible throughout their tenancies.

Always looking to do more

We know the reputation lettings agents have. We want to set a new standard of expectation and show that we’re not all cut from the same cloth. Our success is entirely down to our tenants’ choosing to rent with us so we will always try to do what we can to exceed what they expect from us.
